What fantastic day of creativity yesterday at Fun Palace – Kendal – with our friends at Brewery Arts Centre
We took our successful project Do the Doodle to a new group of exciting and curious doodling dancers in Kendal to take part in this amazing event. The session began with the group learning the ‘Do the Doodle Dance’ and then delved into their imagination doodling and playing with movement.
Here are some images of the amazing doodles that came out of the day and gave us the inspiration for our dancing doodles! We were also joined by our wonderful performer and poet Corisande Graham who recited her fun and frivolous poem ‘I Have Doodled a Poodle‘. Children then wrote their own poems in response to Corisande’s work.
